Great service, great food - they serve traditional steak and eggs menu with one of the largtest Chicken Fried Steaks I have run into. The prices are great with most Breakfasts well under $10. They serve breakfast all day, so you can have wonderful large pancakes for a late night snack.

I have eaten at Schroeders many, many times! They serve breakfast all day, and can whip up a great "make your own omlette"(bacon/shrimp/pepper jack cheese) and some of the best country gravy, like no other! The portions are good sized and for a reasonable amount. Great kids menu too! I love this place! Although, I have not had great luck with thier steak, everything else is awesome!! I return again and again even though I no longer live in Salem anymore! They have a small banquet room available for free so long as you are ordering. They have excellent service, Sharon is the best hostess ever! I always sit in Milly's section, becuase she's the best waitress they have. She remembers my name, my kids' names, what we like to eat, and always asks how we are, shows genuine concern. They always make me feel welcome and at home at Schroeder's Guest House!

every time I have eaten at the gust house there food was the best!

We had our car broken into, and a computer stolen. To find out that its been a problem there because there is NO camera security "even though they post there is". Such a shame of them, i really think they need to think of there paying customers and to be sure when you park in the lot its safe.

do something about them darn mixed veggies ok...lol just joking. my favorite breakfast place in town.
