Affordable Taxi

They charged us double for a ride that should have been like $7. We had taken a taxi earlier in the day from the same company for that price and no problems, but the second one got charged twice for exactly the same distance and from the exact same places. When we called to dispute it, the lady on the phone tried to tell us that they charge for wait time as soon as they arrive at the destination. When I made the point that I've never experienced that even though I've used their service repeatedly in the past and I had used it earlier that day and that didn't happen, she didn't listen to me. And when I mentioned that the charge was written woth paper on pencil and is easily altered she got mad at me and yelled. This is shady and rude. Thankfully, I don't enjoy being bullied and will be looking at other routes to resolve the issue since the company refused to help me.

Picture this...you and your wife are out and trying to go to bed at a decent hour but are concerned because you've had a few drinks and shouldn't drive home. Then you have your bartender call you a cab @ 10pm and then wait, and wait, then double check with the cab company, then hear another half hour....then wait, then wait....then OVER two hours later they show up. NEVER again!!! I will drive drunk before I ever call this cab company again! Just awful!... If you're that "busy"... HIRE people so you don't lose good customer like us that you'll never get back...ever. (And we'll make it a point to let all our fav bartenders know not to call this awful company, so they can actually recommend a company that doesn't...suck )
