I had to drop in again just to express my gratitude i have for Muttropolition Grooming. There are not enough words to describe or explain how wonderful the staff and owners are here. Once again they exceeded my expectations and i cannot thank them enough for always being so sincere and sweet and caring! They love my girls (two shih tzus) just as much as i do and eveb at my toughest times have been willing to help me out! I am telling everyone l, PLEASE listen when i tell you that these guys, this business, TRULY CARES about your fur babies!! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs. They always do a phenomenal job and i never worry about leaving my girls with them because I know they are in great hands and being taken care of while they are there. The prices cant be beat, and the work they do is superior!! Again, THANK YOU Muttropolition for being THE BEST GROOMERS in St. Louis!! We will see you soon!! My llaso apso and lab/Dane mix 80lb puppy started here 6 months ago. Both dogs were groomed exactly the way I wanted and best of all NO Mishaps. Used to take them to Bow Wows, but they kept hurting the llaso apso and not follow my requests.

Boarded our dogs here a few months ago and loved it! Dogs came home happy and clean, so it was without hesitation that we rebooked. NEVER AGAIN.



When we dropped our dogs off, we told the owner that one of them has major allergies and needs a certain dosage of benedryl twice a day. When we picked the dogs up - we immediately noticed that the dog with the allergies was miserable. His face was covered in eye mucous, he had lost all of the fur around his eyes, and he had rubbed his entire snout raw and bloody. When we called and questioned the owner, it was apparent that despite our pleas and warnings, he had never written down the dosage and was giving him half of what he needed.



Not to mention, the dogs came home and immediately went to their water bowls and drank 3X their daily consumption in a matter of minutes. It was apparent that they hadn't received water and were completely dehydrated. We also noticed that the clean dogs we had boarded, came home dirty and smelling of urine which is completely unacceptable and on top of that, when we made the reservation we requested they be bathed!



I am not sure how their grooming is, but if you care about your animal DO NOT board them here! I cannot even comprehend how someone can run an animal boarding business and watch an animal be in pain for days without even calling the owner, but it should be a crime.

Super place, Friendly staff dog always looks great did I mention that I have a Great Pyrenees weighing in at about 130-140 we have been going here for 2 years will never leave !!!!!! Leaving

I have been taking my dog here for 2 years now. I feel I receive great service and my dog loves going there. I would never take my baby anywhere else. I would and have highly recommended this shop to my friends. This is the cleanest Dog grooming salon I have ever experienced. Keep up the wonderful personal service.

My poodle has been going to St. Louis Muttropolitan well over a year! I have never had any problems. My guy is always done in 4 hours and looks beautiful and smells even better. I have been to a few other dog grooming shops in St. Louis, and the shops are dirty and smell bad. And they don't do a good job.

We took our two dogs there in Summer of 2009. They kept them for hours before we were allowed to pick them up. Our one dog got kennel cough from being there. She already had heart problems, but the vet said the kennel cough made it worse. She stopped eating, which her her was a huge thing! She got really sick and we had to put her to sleep a few weeks later. The vet said if she would not have gotten the kennel cough, then he could have gave her medication to help her heart and she would still be here.

This is awesome. Its a little shop, and thats why my dog Tucker and I like it. They are very personable with him, treat him like one of their own. He comes out so clean and smelly fresh. You cannot get your money worth anywhere else for what you get. Highly recommended!!
