Grand Ballroom

Where do I even start... We live in KC and made several trips to have 10 minute conversations about colors and lighting and ect. The week of the wedding he couldn't remember what we had said for colors so we had to email him on that (after we wasted money to have meetings with him). The day before the wedding I went to look at the ballroom and we paid 300 for SATIN sashes and there were tool on the chairs. I could have bought tool for MUCH less. When he was confronted with this he said he didn't have satin sashes (although on the table in the window there were satin sashes). We tried to find the sashes the day before the wedding and of course no one could get them on time. The day of the wedding we were promised entrance to the ballroom from 11am-11pm. We tried to get in at 11 to place ice and he said he wouldn't have it unlocked until 1pm.That's 2 hours we paid for and didn't have access to. Our aunt went in to ice cupcakes because it was easier than transporting them an hour, the owners wife sat there and looked over our aunts shoulder and made snide remarks the entire time which made her uncomfortable. The night of the wedding? The bartenders we paid for (friends of ours) arrived early to set up and he very rudely asked them where their skirts were (which was not only sexist, but completely inappropriate). They were dressed in dressy tops and shorts because it was SO hot in the ballroom. Guests took their beers outside to smoke and he would take them away and even people who were just smoking he would glare them down making many uncomfortable. His servers kept taking guests full drinks off of tables during the night. He ended up in several of our wedding pictures (he was NOT invited to the party). We were promised security at the door so people who were downtown and not invited wouldn't come in, there was NO security. When I (the bride) went to confront him about what he said to my bartenders he felt the need to argue with me when we paid him 2,000 dollars to rent out his place. Please, please, please NEVER risk your big day in the hands of this place. He and his wife were extremely rude and unorganized.
