Eastwood Clinics-St Clair Shores

I went there for marital counseling but Dr. Jane Ryan repeatedly ignored my concerns for seeking counseling to push her own agenda( me quitting drinking). I guess she only knows how to treat substance abuse. Each of our visits we left feeling worse about things than when we arrived. Our last visit ended w/ Dr. Ryan asking me 6 questions in a row, and my wife answering each of them w/o me speaking a word. My 2 main goals, as stated during my first visit, were to improve communication and conflict resolution, she obviously failed at both. During my first 5 visits, I asked the office staff 6 times what my financial responsibility was, and the entire time we attended counseling they were unable to answer this very rudimentary question. I just received an incomplete bill for $263 2 months after my last visit. My wife and I managed to work things out ourselves in spite of Dr. Ryan's meddling.

Receptionists at the front desk are very helpful and I agree with the review below; Dr. Bauza has been incredible and extremely understanding throughout my course of treatment so far. Highly recommend.

I don't know who Kim (the person mentioned in the below review) is, but I have worked with Jeannie at the front desk and she has been nothing but helpful. This clinic and especially the new psychiatrist, Dr. Bauza, is incredible. I have not felt this well in over 10 years. Unbelieveable!
