Ridgeland High School is secondary school that provides college preparatory programs to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers courses in various subjects, including arts, technology, English, science, fine arts, foreign languages, social science, business, and family and consumer science. The athletic programs of the school include cross country, volleyball, football, swimming, tennis and soccer. Its library and media center offers Internet access, books, newspapers, and information about scholarships and career opportunities. It additionally offers programs in music and physical education. The school s other programs include the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program. It is a part of the Walker County Schools and also offers transportation, food and guidance services.
