This hospital billed me through the wrong department which made my insurance deny the claim. I was pregnant with my first baby at the time and was experiencing severe heartburn which I told the ER when I went in. They ran tons of unnecessary tests on me before finally administering Milk of Magnesia. Instead of billing me through the ER (where I entered), they billed me through Labor and Delivery which was not covered through my insurance (however, the ER visit would have been covered for $50). I now owe $1900 for Milk of Magnesia and all of the random testing they did on me just to rack up a bill. They are unwilling to change the billing to be from the Emergency Room where I came to in the first place. They are VERY unhelpful and I will never use this hospital again. I would highly recommend people not use this hospital for any reason. I also have good friends that have had nightmare experiences with delivering their babies at this hospital with overcrowding and other various issues. I would recommend that people avoid this hospital at all costs. Who's ever heard of charging someone $1900 for milk of magnesia. Ridiculous. I'd rather have my credit ruined than let these thieves steal my money.
