Knail

I came to knails for a Mani,she suggested I get gel. I read reviews, thought it was a good place. Terrible after I left my thumb finger started lifting same night. The girl I had dabbed polish, I thought that was the way to do with gel. Terrible experience. Went back next day,the guy tried to fix,still lifted and now to nails peeling. I was gonna come to knails for my daughters birthday party. I will keep looking, why did I have such a bad experience, when reviews show different. Doesn't make since, unless I got the worse in building cause I was coming from out of town.

I didn't know what I was going to do after moving here from the Erie, PA area. I have worn acrylic nails for many years and whenever I needed to change technicians, it would take months to find someone I trusted with my nails and nail beds. I read the review about Mary and thought, I need to find someone. I may as well start here. I have never regretted that decision!!! Mary is a excellent technician AND she is friendly, outgoing and always pleasant. My nails are as healthy as they have ever been. If you are fussy about your nails, definitely try Mary. You will not be disappointed.

After being disappointed by Beautiful Nails on E. Henrietta & Calkins (they etched a deep line into the nail bed at the cuticle that remains visible through fills) and Nail Studio in Marketplace Mall (they filled over lifted edges of previous fill so they were visible under new fill AND they filed too low on my nail beds which HURT), I tried Mary at K Nail based on a high recommendation. Mary was sensitive to these issues (still visible under the current fill) and, although my desire was to completely remove the bad jobs and start from scratch, she knew my nail beds would be too thin in places and it would hurt and likely damage them to do that. So, even though removing and doing new ones would be more money, she compassionately recommended that she cleans up the bad jobs as best as she can and then do a pink fill to better hide any remaining imperfections. This actually cost me LESS than the painful and terrible job done at the mall, and the result was very pretty! I've found my go-to nail girl now. Thanks, Mary!

I have been going to this place since they opened. The owner, Mary, is one of the most friendly people you will ever meet, she and her employees will treat you like gold and charge a fair price! Their pedicures will make your feet feel amazing with massages and hot rocks! They also do a great job on fills! It's best to call ahead and make an appointment! 585-424-6245
