Italian American Sports Club

My husband, I, and two friends attended the "Music of the Stars" event the evening of Saturday, November 16, 2019. This is the first time we have attended any event at the club.
First, let me say, the entertainment was great, although very loud (acoustics not great).
The big disappointment of the evening was the buffet/meal we had as part of the fee to attend. The pasta was okay, but not what Italians are used to, not real sauce just pieces of tomato and not enough to flavor the pasta much. The green beans had no taste. I was told that the chicken had only wings and thighs, however, by the time we got our food all that was left were a few wings. By then, the server only gave us one wing each. The server stated that previous people took too many pieces; that is why we only got one wing each. Unfortunately, the only thing most could agree on was that the rolls were tasty! I have never been to a buffet that included chicken that only offered wings (!) and thighs, and not even enough for the number of people that had reserved for an event.
We were extremely disappointed, as were many of the others attending this event! Attending an event at an "Italian"-related club, we expected to have a good meal!
Needless to say, after this experience, we will not be attending anything at the club again!
