i.e., A GCL is a very destructive organization. Not only are they poor neighbors who reduce property values due to excessive noise and long loud hours of operation, but they also contaminate soil and groundwater with lead and metals. They border Irondequoit Creek and their rainfall runoff of lead and metals is certain to contaminate the creek. They have taken no steps to improve their site in more than 20 years. It would be considered a hazardous waste site under any other condition and will be considered a hazardous waste site once it ceases operation. The taxpayer will then have to clean up thier toxic waste. GCL only exists because it was grandfathered by a crony Penfield Town Board. The town has been neglectful of GCL oversight and it ignores neighbors complaints about the high noise levels. If the lead shot coming from their guns was instead used in a slingshot, the waste generated would be considered hazardous waste. They are an environmental nightmare.
