The bride I'm a bridesmaid for was treated very rudely when she told them she wanted a bridesmaids dress as her bridal gown. And the rude treatment came from the Store Manager! If she hadn't all ready fallen in love with a dress she would have walked out. My experience has been OK but there is a definite lack of customer service and the shop itself is kinda gross. They never answer the phone. I kept calling and finally got through but was told they couldn't talk to me right now and would call back which they NEVER did. I was calling with payment which you would think they'd want and it wouldn't take long to process. I wouldn't go back there if I had the choice.

When Alfredo Angelo was selected to carry dresses inspired by Disney princesses, I knew I could trust them to find me a beautiful dress, and they did. My dress is gorgeous and everyone was so helpful when we went back to find my bridesmaids dresses and my mothers dress. I too wish I hadn't had to pick up my dress when it came in, but it was a matter of bad timing for me as I was out of the country on vacation when it came in. I have yet to go through alterations, but I ordered the dress with plans for it, so I fully expected alterations. I wished the girl who helped me had been more helpful getting me into and out of dresses, but she told me she was new, so she might have been just nervous. I also think the carpet needed a good shampooing. But overall great experience- cuz I found the dress!

I purchased my wedding dress here and I thought the experience was great! I originally went in just to look at a dress I saw online. When I asked to see it, even though they were busy and I didn't have an appointment the saleswoman asked if I wanted to try it on. She was very friendly and sweet and helped me into the dress. It was so perfect and because of that I found my dream dress on the first try! Had she not been so wonderful I may not have ever found it. My bridesmaids also all found dressed they loved and the staff that day were wonderfully attentive and helped all four of my bridesmaids and my mom get great dresses at great prices! The only negative thing about it was that when I purchased my dress I had to pick it up and hold it for the year before my wedding. But that's a store policy and after all of their help it was a negative I was willing to accept without complaint. Thanks ladies!

I'm not sure what everyone else is complaining about...I had the best possible experience at Alfred Angelo. The specialist helped me pick the perfect dress, which wasn't one that I thought I would like but loved. All of my bridesmaids were happy with their service also. Having worked in this industry I do know that a lot of people think a "huge" dress is one that fits on the hips but not the bust....unless you purchase a custom dress expect to generally pay for alterations unless you are a perfect mannequin size. Too many people expect way too much these days. Again, I was very happy with every experience in this store.

The most unprofessional, rude and obnoxious General Manager I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. DON'T EVER SHOP HERE!!! I'm the bride and luckily I didn't order MY dress from them but at this point getting the bridesmaids dresses has made this wedding plan process unpleasent for me. Please get rid of the manager and stop making it your policy to order dresses in the wrong size so you can make money off the alterations.

I am a bridesmaid and I went to Alfred Angelo try on and order the bridesmaid dress the bride had picked out. The girls were friendly but very chit chatty with each other and less attentive than I would have liked. One of the girls measured my and instructed me that I would need a size or two larger than I expected. I try to explain to her that I thought I should order one size smaller than she recommended but she insisted and I ordered the size she recommended. I went to pick the dress up yesterday and tried on this tent of a dress. I came out of the dressing room and asked about the fit of the dress. The woman I talked to was rude and completely unhelpful. She acted like it was normal for this dress to be falling off of me and told me I just needed alterations. I think that they intentionally make you order dresses way too big so that you have to pay tons of money in alterrations. NEVER EVER SHOP HERE they are rude and unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never dealt with such rude people. I walked in, knew exactly what dress I wanted, was ready to give them my money and they did not have the time of day. Customer Service is HORRIBLE and I was dealing with mgmt. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience. Will never go near the place again!

All of their dresses are very beautiful. Management was very nasty to me. I had spoken to one Manager about holding my dress until 1 mth before my wedding because I'm originally from NYC. All my family and friends live in there and I did not want to pick up my dress and have my dress laying around my house for my fiance to see. And I do not have anyone else that I can hide or leave my dress by in Rochester. One Manger had arranged for me to hold my dress there till 1 mth before the wedding and I would take it to NYC the wk I picked it up. When I went back to Alfred Angelo, there was a new head manager and when I explained to her what the situation was and what the previous mgr had promised me she did not care and made me take my wedding dress 5 mths before the wedding. She addressed my as"Are you THAT Bride" in a rude manner. She was very hasty with me and I felt so torn because I had just spent so much money on my dress and I was being treated like trash. Bad rep for Alfred Angelo!
