We ate there this evening for the first time and it certainly won't be the last. Our server was very friendly and offered some good suggestions. We started with drinks, my husband had the sunshine special (or something like that) and I had a lemon drop martini which was perfect but they need to rim the glass with sugar. My husband ordered the burger and said it was delicious and he is a burger fanatic!! He is always highly critical and if he says it was good, it was. The Parmesan fried potatoes were absolutely perfect!! Beautifully fried, crisp and delicious. I stole some from him! I went with the suggested short rib sandwich and it was wonderful. Very tender and meaty covered with melted havarti cheese and a yummy gravy. It was a bit messy but that just made it all the better in my book. The messier the better, like ribs!! I also had the soup special which was Brie and artichoke and it was delicious too. It wasn't as thick as I expected but the flavor was all there. The prices are very reasonable for downtown and we found the wait staff very personable. We will certainly go back again and I do recommend that you try it.

This was one of the worse experience that I ever had in a restaurant. We got there around 6:30 pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant was fairly empty but when we asked for a table the manager told us that if we need a table of 6 in the future we new to make a reservation because they cannot accommodate that without reservation... we were like, really? No table for 6 without reservation, is that a restaurant or what?

Anyway, after a few minutes we got a table and we asked for the menu, they call themselves a gastro pub but they do not have a good selection of craft beer and their food its not good at all.

The owner said that they call themselves a gastro pub because they have craft beers ( no you don't have that) and craft cocktails ( they have a list with 5 cocktails and a traditional Brazilian drink, caipirinha, was completely wrong, so they dont have a cocktails either).

We still decided to give them a chance and we order our food, actually on the ordering process the menu said you get an entree, soup or salad and a side, but the waitress said that wasn't a misprint on the menu and you dont get both, have to choose one... this restaurant has been open for 4 days and can't even have a menu with the correct information.

When we order our food, our waitress didn't know the menu and when we got our food was missing the bacon, the cheese, the iceberg lettuce ( the nasty white part), the end of roma tomatoes and not even a salt on the burger (never ate something so disgusting before) even burger king is better and its half the price.

The chef came and ask what we thought but as soon as we started talking he left, so if yoi dont want to know how was the experience ... just dont ask.

We left and went over an ice cream shop, the owners came to talk to me, first I thought that they were going to apologize and understand why my experience was so bad but they were blaming me because I wrote what I thought about the place, food and drinks. One of the owner was very aggressive and didnt want listen to anything and didnt even know what a gastro pub stands for ... on the end of the accusation they left but one of them came back and ask if I own a restaurant ... do you really think that if I own a restaurant I would eat in a place like yours, the answer is never ... I RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, after a few minutes the Sam owner came back very apologetic, gave a gift card ( wrote down a $20 voucher behind a drink receipt) and told me to not post anything on social media, but the experience was so akward and so bad that I had to write this.

If you are looking for a good place to eat, have fun and enjoy a good drinks, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, I WILL NEVER COME BACK AND I ADVISE YOU TO NOT GO THERE EITHER.
