The Great 611 Steak Company

The Great 611 Steak Company is NOT a great company. The salad bar is just average, with a less than desired dessert selection. The average family steaks are not the best quality, and seemingly over priced. Management does not like to go out of their way to make your meal a good experience. If they get "it" wrong they don't like to know about it.

I have always loved this restaurant and I have eaten there multiple times. I am seated quickly, no matter if the place is full. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a great full salad bar which always has fresh vegetables. There are also cooked vegetables which are decent. The desserts/ cakes are not always fresh. I usually get a cookie or cobbler instead. There is even a potato bar to load your potato. I usually get the chopped steak with gravy and it is always good. You even get a basket of rolls which I love. I also think the price is good and about as cheap as you will find with all the food you have access to. I try not to eat too much though. But I really like this restaurant, especially if you are hungry.

I recently visited the former Western Sizzlin in hopes it would be better than the former restaurant chain. I was highly disappointed. The poor quality tasteless food had me wishing I had stayed at home and cooked dinner myself, and I am a horrible cook. Not only was the food bad but the place was very dated, poorly decorated, and dirty. I was livid when my check for 2 came and was $36. For just a few dollars more you can indulge yourself at a wonderful international cuisine called Montano's just about a minute away that is very tasteful and professionally staffed with an exquisite menu and quality food. Stay away from the new establishment 611, unless of course you want to pay for a bad dinner experience.
