LabCorp

I visited this lab for what should have been confidential STD testing. When I arrived at the clinic, I followed the instructions exactly as given. I signed in with the name I provided, and was then asked for an ID. I told the lady at the desk to find the fax from TSG Medical. She told me to have a seat and she would be with me shortly. When she called me back up, she gave me a form to fill out that asked for my Name, Phone Number, Social Security Number and Date of Birth. Again,I informed her that I did not need to provide that information, so she asked me for the paperwork that I should have brought with me "because she doesn't know what she needs to do if I don't have any paperwork." I told her it was faxed over, and she told me to have a seat again because she couldn't find it. Then, she asked if I was sure that I was in the right place. "Did they send you to Labcorp or Quest, because I don't see anything."



The paperwork wasn't in the fax drawer, but she did find it0 in the computer. I gave a urine sample, and she said, "just put that right there, and I'll get a label for it later." Then, we went to another room to do the blood work. While she was drawing the blood, she asked me to verify my address, which I did not disclose when I ordered the tests.



So much for doing this quickly on my lunch break. The silver lining in all of this is that I chose to pay after the tests are completed, because I certainly don't trust results when dealing with this level of incompetence or anyone who leaves my urine on a counter with no label where others are being tested also.

This was an amazing lab with awesome customer support. They were kind and had great respect for every customer that came to their laboratory. They were VERY busy, but handle the load with efficiency and tack. This office blew me away with their professionalism. Amazing group and customer service hands down!

Note: I would highly recommend making an appointment if possible.
