Gillum's Sports Lounge

Gillum's is awesome. The service has always been great and the entire menu is excellent. I have suggested this restaurant to many friends and business customers. Everyone who has taken me up on my offer had no complaints and ALL said they will eat there again.

Have really enjoyed their delivery pizza in the past but the last couple of times it has not been as good. Still, picked up the 8 oz angus burger and a pizza sub that was on their delivery/take-out menu online a couple of nights ago and went home. Found the pizza sub was as flat as a pinini (and not nearly as tasty) and the burger was literally inedible. The 8 oz. angus was two 4 oz patties that were obviously frozen gov. surplus. The mystery meat burgers in elementary school were better quality. And to add to the bizzare, the burger came with hand-cut fries (cold) and the sub came with crinkle-cut fries (also cold) even there there was no actual description differing from either menu item (nor were we asked for preferences when ordering). I can't imagine what quality of ingrediants they are using on the pizzas anymore given the examples off the regular menu. Sorry to say, we are not going to eat or order from there again.

The pizza is probably the best in Richmond. The only complaint is the service of the waitress was below average.

I have never eaten at the location itself, but they do deliver now. What other place in Richmond delivers burgers? NONE. The food was great, and not having to go get it made it even better.

I have been to Gillum's various times and every time the food and service was fine. I feel it was a great value.

Good food and horrible service. This seems to be an ongoing theme with this establishment. The beer was pretty flat and our server was barely there. We easily dropped over $100 and the other guests spend around $50 and we where treated like we where garbage. If every other place in Richmond and Lexington is full then you should go here. If you have the opportunity to go elsewhere then you should.

I've been to countless sports bars to watch football games and as far as the viewing experience goes, Gillums is certainly the best. I've been there for nearly every NFL game the past 2 years and I encourage my passionate football companions from Richmond and the surrounding areas to come there as well. Everyone agrees it's top notch and way better than Buffalo Wild Wings. That being said, everyone recognizes that the waitresses are quite snobby and lazy. However, the atmosphere is fantastic enough for me to continue overlooking that flaw.

Excellent pizza, if you get it. Service has always been dicey. My friend was served after 40 min but turned out he was given food intended for another table by accident. After about 1 hr, was offered a "mistake" another table didn't want. After 1-1/2 hrs and repeated assurances my pizza was "in the oven"--I gave up and left hungry.

Service is very poor, food is good if you are willing to wait. I have been there a few times and the service has been poor every time. Thank God BW3 has come to town. I belong to several groups in town and will advise them to paln their events at other locations.

I own a business here in Richmond and we usually eat a pizza from Gillums at least once per week. Usually a few of us will dine in but we'll occasionally call in an order and pick it up. I can't attest for most items on the menu, but the pizzas are EXCELLENT! I really think Jeff has established it as the best pizza in Madison County. Good atmosphere, friendly servers, and the service is getting better every time. I congratulate them for their success. I'll be honest, I thought going to the mall was a terrible idea but they've proved me wrong.

Gillum's is great. Fills a niche in Richmond that was empty. Sports bar with very good food. Most people I've spoken to are very glad it's here and are very pleased with how good the food is. A sports bar where you can actually get a salad or vegetables on the side instead of fries. Unheard of around here. Been there fifty times and never, never had a significant issue with service. I suspect the individual who wrote the poor review regarding service is nitpicking or stumbled into an anomaly. I go there for lunch frequently and am ALWAYS in and out quickly and get friendly service.

This is the best sports bar in Richmond! If you haven't been there yet you must go! They have the best pizza in town! The service is great too! Awesome spot to watch anything SPORTS! Go check it out! It will be worth it!

This is a great environment and one of the coolest spots in Richmond. However, everytime I have been here it has been an all day event because the service is not very good. Great food, but nasty service. The servers ignore you and it takes forever to order, get your food, and get your check. Also, the girls are very rude and hateful. So, if you have several hours to spare and like hateful service this is the place for you. If you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner, do not try it because it will take forever. Hopefully the servers will get it together because this could be a great local place to eat.
