Rapid Cab Company Inc

These folks have always been very good to me. Helpful with groceries, courteous, polite, and friendly.

So I am never one to leave a bad review even after a few bad experiences with a business, but they quality of this company has pushed me to do this. I have had a bad experience with Rapid Cab at least half of the time I have used the service. For example a few months ago I needed a ride into town so I called them. They told me a cab should be at my house in 20 minutes (it was before 9 O'clock), I told them I just needed it to get me to my destination (which was 15mins away) by 10pm and the women on the phone even jokingly laughed as if it was ridiculous to be worried about the gab arriving after ten and she assured me I would arrive well before that. The cab ended up not showing up until almost 10pm making me late for my event. I even called back twice to see how close the cab was. I waited 40 minutes after I ordered the cab to see how close it was and I was told 10 minutes. I waited over 25 minutes to call back and when I did the guy told me it would be 5 minutes again. The crazy thing is that I heard him ask the cab driver and I clearly heard the cab driver say it would be at least 10 minutes.

So in conclusion Rhinelander Rapid Cab does not only provide horrible customer service, they lie to you and disrespect you. These arn't even close to all the bad times I have had with the cab company, and I'm not going to even mention the time the women answering phones made my 85yo grandma cry. Basically if Rapid Cab was my only transportation to escape a natural disaster that would surly kill me, I would rather let it kill me then ever give this horribly run business a cent again.

They have all "VERY" good drivers, kind helpful, they drive Safely and according to traffic, and weather conditions. feel Safe and confident that im going to get to my destination and back home. With the exception of one driver! The driver is sometimes rude 75 % of the time, my question is why and what justifies that? I'm not the only one that has experienced this. It's Not Professional or necessary. Other than that I'll for now Continue using Rapid Cab until the driver is addressed and Reminded that they are Serving the Public. Always act and Be Professional, Thanks.

Do not buy a car from the owner. He is shady. Agreed on a price and I accidentally left too much money in the envelope, the owner counted it out and didn't say a word. When I went to pick up the car, one of the drivers yelled at me to hurry up and move it out of the way!! I moved the car quickly, not having time to adjust the heat or anything. Stopped a few minutes later to adjust the heat, rolled down the window and it would not go back up again. I drive 39 min in freezing cold with the drivers side window down. Called the cab company and got yelled at by a rude worker. I know when you buy a used car it is sold as is- I've been burned before, but on the way home the traction control light went on, the air bag light went on, oil change light went on and then the turn the air off the car is overheating warning came on!!! I'm too afraid to drive it!! Yes, I'm dumb and I got burned, but this man is dishonest and his workers are rude. I'm sure the owner sleeps just fine at night knowing he ripped off a hard working single mother working 3 jobs putting her daughter through college.
