The Village at Iron Blossom

I lived at Iron Blossom for 2 years and have never experienced such incompetent property managers. That indoor jacuzzi the guy above me is talking about is always being maintanenced. And when it isn't- there are people having intercourse in it. (Yes- This is something my son and I got to witness) The area is NOT safe. My car was broken into (in my parking space during the day on a Sunday). I lived above drug dealers who I regularly overheard selling drugs to teens. My downstairs neighbors had parties 4 nights a week. The complex did nothing. They also had a drumset they played at 4am. Which was nice when I was 9 months pregnant and even nicer when I had an infant. There were multiple domestically violent disputes. Recently the complex was on the news because a swat team was there to arrest someone as a "person of interest" in a murder. A friend of mine had a downstairs neighbor who was in her apartment DEAD for over week (after the smell was reported to the property managers- they did nothing). I would NEVER reccomend Iron Blossom. When we moved out they sent me a bill but could not explain the charges (and when I asked what they were for they said utilities- which were supposed to be included in rent). They sent me to collections for $38 (for the utilities that are supposedly included in the rent) and I had no choice but to pay because of course it would affect my credit (which is impeccable, by the way). Do not move here. If you are looking for a place in the south Reno area there are other options that are reasonably priced. I thank god everyday that I no longer live there.

I had to put a rating but it doesn't even deserve a star. My husband and I signed a year lease with them. Two months after we moved out we got a collection call stating we owed the apartments $1400. We asked them why and they said because they had to replace the carpet. We asked for them to send proof of a reciet and they never sent it. We called the apartment complex and they refused to speak with us. THey sent a paper to the collection agancy stating that we never showed up for our exit interview, which is NOT true. They said everthing looked "great." and that we "shouldn't have any problems." They are liars and they will do whatever they can to swindle any money out of you, please do not put yourself in a situation like this. If you look at other sites they will say the same thing.
