If I could give this place 0 stars then I would. We purchased our Golden Retriever puppy, Ruger, from here back in January. When we picked him up he was checked out by their "vet" and he had a clean bill of health. A few days after we took him home I took him to my own vet for his first check up. It was then that we found out that he had a heart murmur. How did their vet miss this a few days earlier? We contacted them and they said there was nothing that they could do. Ruger is now 9 months old and has been limping very bad. Took him back to our vet and discovered he has a hereditary disease called Osteochondritis Dissecans. Which can only be corrected with extensive surgery. After thousands of dollars to correct it he seems to be doing better, but we will never know if the problem will come back. My problem with this company is that they should do a better job researching who the breeders are that they are getting their puppies from. I understand that there are some things that are out of their control, but my poor pup has to live with problem after problem. I will be forever grateful that this little boy has come into our lives, as he is part of our family. I just wish this company would do a better job at insuring their puppies are healthy.

I have a friend that works at "Dogs R Us" I am told the puppies have Parvo. A deadly virus and very contagious. The owners should be fined and the business should be investigated. These puppies are obviously not being vaccinated and examined by a licensed Veterinarian. Please contact Joe Hart with Chanel 4 News on your side. Jhart@mynews4.com

My dog died within 48 hours of getting it home from Pets R Us. I am still trying to be compensated

DO NOT purchase a dog from this store. We were sold a dog that became VERY sick within a day. The vet said the illness would have been incubating at time of purchase. When we tried to get a refund or at least have someone to help us out, we were just told no. The customer service was terrible and the ethical values of the business are poor to say the least. I would NOT recommend this business.

This store is always clean, the puppies are kept clean and every time I have gone inside they always have the pups out and playing. Their staff also does basic training with them. I have researched some of the breeders they use and they are not puppy mill. The manager was very helpful to show me exactly where they come from and how they get them. Individual breeders and local breeders as well. Fish, reptiles and a pond. This is a caring well trained staff. We also bought a puppy from them. A German Shepherd. We love her.
