Pediatric CareDr. Sara Edwards was inducted into the American Shoulder and Elbow Society this past October. Dr. Edwards is CAL Girls’ Basketball team physician. Sports MedicineThe physicians at SOAR are proud to continue a tradition of research and education in addition to their clinical practice. For the past 16 years, the practice has supported a Fellowship in Sports Medicine Training for Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Graduates. Accredited by the Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and supported by this independent, tax, exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the SOAR program seeks to continue a tradition of excellence in musculoskeletal education. In addition to independent endeavors, Fellows and Faculty members collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners in order to research the most effective ways of keeping our patients healthy and active.
Occupational TherapyOrthopaedics covers the care of the musculoskeletal system including joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. SOAR offers a comprehensive range of services including diagnostics, surgical and non-surgical procedures, as well as rehabilitative physical and occupational therapy.
