Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospital

I have been taking my cat to the Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospital since she entered my life two years ago. I am impressed by the friendliness, professionalism, competence and kindness of all of the staff. Whether it's routine nail clipping, vaccinations, other preventive care or treatment of a medical problem, I know that my cat will receive the very best veterinary care from Dr. Erin Maillet and the staff at the hospital. The ease of getting an appointment, the ability to access my cat's medical records online and the affordable prices make this my first choice for a full-service veterinary hospital in Western Washington.

We have been taking our cats to Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospital for 6 years. I originally switched our cats (four at the time, now six) to RFCAH from a vet in Issaquah because I was unhappy with their care, even though we were getting a "multi-cat discount." After carefully researching the gold-standard for veterinary care, I chose RFCAH. As a 35-year health care professional, I was impressed with their national accreditation, and I purposefully chose Dr. Erin Maillet. Dr. Maillet is knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and compassionate. I completely trust her judgment. She never rushes through our visits, even though I ask a lot of questions. She has an excellent bedside manner. Our senior cat, Tiger, won't like it that I'm posting this, but I think he has a crush on Dr. Maillet. Over the years, our cats - ages 2 through 16 - have faced various challenges. Dr. Maillet has provided expert care throughout.

We recently moved to Fall City after living in the south end for 20 years. Our pets are extremely important to us, so the right veterinarian and animal clinic is a must. My wife researched and decided on the Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospital and Dr. Maillet became our main veterinarian after meeting with her. We have had very good experiences with Dr. Maillet, the staff at the clinic and the other veterinarians when we need to go on Dr. Maillet's day off. We are warmly greeted when we get to the clinic and receive high quality and professional care from the techs and the doctors. I appreciate that the doctors at the clinic are careful about when they recommend tests and procedures, only doing them when it will provide good information. We have had to put one of our dogs to sleep in the last year. Everyone at the clinic was supportive and compassionate to us during this difficult time. -Steve Fall City, WA

We came to the hospital for our bearded dragon. The team at the hospital was very polite and helpful. The vet gave us valuable advice and was very sympathetic. We really appreciated all of their help.

Took our dog to Redmond fall City Animal Hospital for the first time recently. Stopped in without an appointment to ask questions and the staff was warm, welcoming, and happy to spend some time getting to know our malamute. When we returned for the appointment, Dr. Maillet was wonderful with our dog. We would highly recommend this veterinary practice.

My family and I are new to the area and weren't sure how to begin finding an animal hospital. We had to find one the hard way when my dog starting having back problems. I had heard about Dr Hartung and Dr Maillet from family friends but I had never met them or been to the clinic but my dog had to be seen. I called and they got me in right away. They sat me down and explained everything that was going on. All the staff worked to help me out. My dog is a seizure alert dog so getting him better was pretty important. I was an emotional mess but they were supportive and helped me make a plan to get him better. I am so happy to say he is a doing a lot better! I went to get a general check up and discussed dental since I had heard it was a good idea. A couple weeks later he was in for dental work and he is eating better (I learned it was because his teeth needed some work) and playing with his toys again. THANK YOU!!!! I won't go any where else.

I started taking my two yellow Lab to RFCAH about a year and a half ago and I have been so amazed with their level of service. I have sense moved to Bothell Mill Creek area ( about 45 minutes away) but still continue to take out dogs to RFCAH due to their amazing service I am willing to make the commute without thinking twice! Our older dog is 14 and had recently started to go down hill rather fast and the care that they took of him just reaffirmed why I am so willing to make the drive. In the months prior to Rex passing the staff there made every effort to make Rex as comfortable as possible and truly extended his life by almost a year. I can just not say enough great things about the lever of care and professionalism they provide!

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Cox and his practice. I have taken my dog there a few times and always leave feeling good about our visit. He is very knowledgeable and the staff took great care of my dog Tucker.

My family has been taking their dog to this animal hospital for years. I just got a new puppy and of course went there too. The staff is nothing but personable and they treat the animals great. THey follow up the next day and offer great services for tracking all of your pets shots/ meds history etc.. ( pet portal) My little Stella just loves them. Very reasonable prices too! This is not the closest animal hospital too me but I woudlnt take my pet elsewhere!

Thank you so very much for treating our little Daisy (3 yo chocolate lab) for her emergency yesterday. We were very pleased with the care Daisy received and are sure that you saved her precious life! Today Daisy is eating small amounts, drinking small amounts and her bowels and kidneys seem to be working normally. She has calmed down and is no longer having any tremors. Her typical behaviours are resurfacing this afternoon, much to our delight (but with a little side eye from her older brother). There are not enough words to show our gratitude. I've just had the WORST experience at Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital. I will NEVER be back there. No compassion, no caring, no explanations. If you care about how you and your animal will be treated, please go elsewhere. My 6 month old kitten had complications from a surgery and I was treated like I was bothering them. Rude on the phone, rude in person.... *sigh* Post Op 1 day - He is bleeding and has lost a fair amount of blood for a kitten. I took him into the clinic immediately. Once I got there, 5 receptionists and vet techs were starring at me like I was crazy. Then, RACHEL (a mean and heartless tech) stands up and says, "I'll deal with this" and walks over to take my kitten! WHAT? Deal with this???? He had bled all over my dining room! How about some compassion? How about treating me like I was doing the right thing by bringing him back in? Instead, Rachel made me feel like an idiot. If it weren't for the tireless efforts of Dr Cox and his staff, our dog wouldn't be with us today. Despite ambiguous symptoms, they continued looking until the rare ailment was found and saved our pet's life. We will be forever grateful for their caring and kind atmosphere and genuine affection for our dog. Thank you very much!

We are long time customers of RFCAH. I was just looking over your website, and wanted to send some of my thoughts. I first met Dr. Hartung around 11 years ago when I brought her our demented beagle (rest her soul). She has seen us through happy and sad times, with style and grace. I consider her a trusted and revered member of our family. Also, Dana has done some pet-sitting for us, and I know that I can call her anytime with questions/concerns about our pets, and I can trust her judgement and advice. I really appreciate that. We recently had our new addition, Vik the Icelandic Sheepdog, neutered by Dr. Hartung. He developed some post-op complications, and we were immediately invited in for evaluation. That gave me the opportunity to meet Dr. Maillet. I was very impressed with her ability to listen to my concerns, and how she expertly figured out the problem. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and I trusted her right away. I'm happy to report that Vik is feeling SO much better today.

Last week we realized that we would need to put our 13.5 year old lab down. We set the appointment for Tuesday at 10:00a.m. -- Our dear lab Dylan, spent the night with us on the family room floor and all the kids got to say goodbye. His last gift to us was to pass away about 2:30a.m. Tuesday on his own. We contacted Redmond Fall City Hospital and they helped us take care of the final steps. When we arrived, we were embraced by a caring staff that assisted us in placing Dylan for his cremation. They were incredibly caring and supportive. I would highly recommend them to anyone that loves dogs and cares for every step in the journey of life. We will be bringing our little boy (3lb chihuahua) in for neutering. They do everything great. This place is great! My cats had a Laser declaw with Dr. Cox. I was told that this was the humane option for this procedure. My cat never experienced any discomfort. Very Happy!
