Overall

This place doesn't even deserve one star. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would not recommend this place to a friend or enemy. I should have known what the expect when I pulled up and another customer is outside screaming swear words at the top of her lungs. The whole office was completely unorganized, it smelled, and one of the computers "did not work." So, there was a line of customers waiting to be helped with only one working computer. Now, I'm used to waiting. In fact, I expected a wait; however, after an hour of waiting with no assistance my patience had drawn thin. The one women refused to make eye contact with me and the other one told me that they did not have a car for me regardless of the fact that I had reserved a car and even called to ensure there was a car for me to pick up. When I was finally given a car that seemed to just appear out of thin air, it had less than a quarter tank of gas, it was completed scratched and bent up, it drove like it was going to break down, and was three months late and about 7 thousand miles past its oil change. I would rather be stranded at home than ever use this place ever again. WORST RENTAL PLACE EVER!

Make sure you TALK to them to see if they have a car available for you.

I needed to rent a car to go to NJ for 1 way and it had to be by the next morning. Since this is the only place who does 1-way rent in Martinsburg area, I called them around 10:00 AM to see if they have a car available for the next day. They did not answer the phone, so I left a message asking them to call me back, but they didn't call me back. 1 hour later, I thought about reserving a car on line, and I did, hoping if they didn't have a car available, their website would tell me or the store would call me. Their website booked a car for me with no problem and no one called, so I assumed they have a car available for me.

Well, they did call me the next morning, which was only 1 hour before I had to leave, saying they don't have any car available!!!



I understand it is a small store and they may not have cars available always, but I think at least they should have called me back in the first place. And since it was 1 hour before my appointment when they found out they don't have a car, they could have gotten a car from the Winchester store, which is about 35 minutes away from this store.

If you need to rent a car from them, make sure you talk to them to see if they have a car available for you (do not trust their website for the car availability, and do not think leaving a message is good enough). Otherwise, you may get screwed.
