American Laser Center in Raleigh told me that laser would work on my blonde hair if I purchased twice as many treatments as their normal "treatment package". Several thousand dollars later I had just as much hair, and ALC would not refund my money.



Melissa told me the truth - that laser won't work on blonde hair because it does not have enough pigment. I've been undergoing electrolysis treatment for hair removal at Elite Laser and Skin Care for about 2 years. Melissa's excellent work has made a world of difference, and the hair removal is permanent.

I have been going to Elite Skin and Laser for a couple of years now for Electrolysis. Melissa is exceptional at her work and her knowledge and professionalism are outstanding. She has been kind and compassionate when needed most and has provided a service that far surpasses other electrologist's I have visited in the area who provided inadequate services like not taking time to actually destroy the root of the hair with the probe, only plucking. I have had this done for 30 plus years on numerous sites of my body and know how this procedure should feel and the result one should see. Had I known years prior to discovering Elite Skin and Laser, my husband and I would not have experienced inadequate treatment from American Laser Treatment Center for laser hair removal. One technician who provided treatment on my husband caused a 3rd degree burn on his skin. Her work history included an airline attendant prior to her training for laser hair removal. Had we known of Elite Skin and Laser at the time, we never would have had this happen.
