        Capitol City Lumber Company was incorporated in 1945, but due to World War II was not started until April 1, 1947.After World War II, our founder, James Anglin Nicholson started the company with one empty building, a two ton truck and a single load of plywood. During those days materials where hard to find, he established his place in the community by offering quality building materials at a fair price.Although the company has grown, we strive every day to live up to his original mission of Quality, Service, and Dependablity.
