Rahway Animal Hospital

This hospital is terrible I will NEVER take my pet in there. The front desk personnel are more concerned about gossiping and talking over the phone for personal matters than to actual take care of the patient. You can stay there 15 minutes just standing unattended with noone else there but you and if you dare to say something the "head" nurse or technician will stare at you like she's about to hit you, tell you they are busy (maybe on their gossiping) and that you HAVE to wait.
One thing they are very quick at: charging your credit card.
Absolutely horrendous service, I will NEVER expose my pet to these people.

He doesn't care at all. I brought my cat in and he didnt care to even look to see what was wrong with him because his s face was injured. I took the cat see somewhere else and they attended to him right away with love. He is all about the money. Another time he open my cat up before he died to make more money. Dont feel like writing exactly why. But he is a shithead and will try to get over if he can. I will never go there again!!!!! No good uncaring dr.!!!!!!

Best vet I have ever been to. Dr. Shukla loves animals and you can feel it when you watch how he treats your pet. I will Never go anywhere else again as long as they are around!

I have visited the Rahway Animal Hospital a handful of times now and everytime, I am satisfied with the checkup of my dog and the doctors plan for treatment. The receptionist was very nice and polite and the office is very clean. This office was recommended to me by a friend who has been going here for a few years now. All good experiences for me and my pup and there has never been any cross-selling of products or the pressure of buying something that I may not need. Their prices are very affordable too.

The only one i trust is DR Shakula, He always take care my dog. I dont trust the others DR's there, the mean looking ones. Shakula is the best...

Unprofessional and rude woman working at the front desk who accused me of being disrespectful when I pointed out that they CUT MY DOG'S LEG. The vet aggressively tried to take off her bandages and cut her, but denied it even though my dog yelped in pain when it happened in front of me. The employee took the vet's side immediately and instead of professionally subduing the interaction (I was angry!), she was rude and said things that were just uncalled for. Days before, this same staff member and another woman were just chatting away at the desk while my dog was bleeding badly and couldn't hold her own weight. They also wanted to change the bandage on the dirty floor and the woman made a face at me when I asked for her to be put on the table. AVOID.

Dr. Shukla and the staff are great. They genuinely care about the pets and are very reasonably priced. They will even work with you regarding charges. Great vet!

Only compassion, honesty and great care for your loved pet at Rahway Animal Hospital.



Your pet deserves honest care from honest vets and that is what you can expect from this group.



Dissatisfied with the care at another local vet, an acquaintance suggested Rahway A.H. After meeting Dr. Shukla the 1st time, I knew that is where my cat deserved her care and I changed with NO regrets.



I recently had to put my sweet little girl down - she was almost 18. Dr. Shukla and his staff helped me make my decision based on facts and not emotions.



Everyone there works hard and treats you and your pet with respect. The ladies at the desk are so compassionate, the kind man that helps to handle your pet with care, other staff, and of course, Dr. Shukla. He takes the time to explain so you understand.



I am certain that when I am ready for another cat, I will be back at Rahway Animal Hospital for care.

Rocco Garruto/ Fancy Puppies sells seriously ill puppies. Some have died. On 1/26/2012 8:45am he is to address criminal charges brought by Middlesex County Consumer Affairs on behalf of 8 families. The state has 10 charges still pending. SPCA is also investigating. AVOID THIS MONSTER AT ALL COSTS.



Dr Patel is his vet. Did Patel sign off on a sick dog without seeing it? Dis Patel EVER see this dog? I'll never know but my lawyer will find out!!!!!!!!

The vet was VERY unprofessionally rude. He made poor attempts in trying to listen to my concerns and did not give me thorough explanations to what he "thinks" is wrong with my chihuahua.



My question to you is, which vet did you go to when you found out your puppy was diagnosed with pneumonia? Because I believe my dog has respiratory problems as well.

I purchased a 10 week old puppy and was allowed a day to have it checked out to ensure it was healthy, otherwise I could return it. I took it to this vet and they gave it a clean bill of health. The puppy had a tiny cough which the doctor said was common amungst puppies and he gave me medication for him. The next day he threw up and being a new owner I panicked and rushed it to an all night emergency hospital 45 minutes away. When we arrived they ran some simple tests and determined that my puppy's lungs were in terrible shape and it had pneumonia. They weren't sure if he would live because the illness was so severe. It was already past the return period and I felt so bad for the little guy... he looked soooo sad. Long story short, after a 10 day stay in the hospital, a lot of back and forth visits and a $6,000 bill my puppy survived. Thank goodness! He's a a little over a year old now and so much fun!! The doctor at the emergency hospital could not understand how the doctor at this location couldn't tell it was something serious, all the good doctor did was listen to his lungs to hear how weak they were.
