        Overall

        I have been avoiding the new Lowes for years because of a bad experience at the old location with their rude delivery of a new washer and dryer. They actually laughed at my wife.

        I stopped there this afternoon to get mini blinds and pushed the "Need Assistance?" button on the window treatment aisle and waited....................and waited..........and waited.............

        I had a 2 year old and a 4 year old in a cart so I had to keep moving up and down the aisle. I chased an "associate" down as she passed the end of the row. Asked if I could get some assistance. She discussed it with another employee and they decided it should be a "Danielle" who was working my area and they would call her for me.

        I went back up the aisle and waited.........................and pushed a cart..............and waited....................and waited...........

        Another guy appeared at the window treatment desk and took a seat. I asked him if he was waiting for service as well. He said he actually had an appointment scheduled.

        I pushed all the "Need Assistance?" buttons again and went back to the other end of the aisle. The paint center employee asked if i'd been helped yet. "No"

        "Well she just went over there"

        I look behind me down the aisle and there she is with the other gentleman now.

        I stroll my cart and toddlers down there and am studiously ignored by her.

        "Excuse me. Are you the Danielle I've been waiting ten minutes for?"

        "Sorry, maybe somebody else can help you".

        "If somebody else could help me, why would no less than 3 other employees have me here waiting for you?"

        "I'm with another customer now sir"

        "Well I guess I'm going to another store then. Do these 'Need Assistance' buttons even work?"

        "No they don't"

        The paint counter guy asked if i'd been helped on my way by. Nice of him. Didn't see him assisting anybody the whole time I was there. Guess that counter has to be manned at all cost. The original woman I talked to was still over by the customer service/returns area chatting with another girl.

        This store sucks. Service sucks. I took my business straight to HOME DEPOT and ten minutes later had my blinds, and paint and they will have my business from now on.

        Go to Home Depot or McClendons, don't waste your time at this Lowe's
