I haven’t been here personally, however my coworker speaks very highly of this place. To the point that I feel confident that if my little Roxey had an issue, they would be there to take great care of her.

Dr galbraith has been my vet for 30 years . We started with him when he was in Columbia. He is a dedicated and caring individual. His knowledge and ability to remember everything about your pet is amazing. The office is busy. But people appreciate his skills and care he provides for their pets. The staff is busy but are very nice and hard working group, They have always been attentive to my concerns. You may have to call several times to get thru but keep trying. He has a very high volume of babies he takes care of. We drive from Spring Hill and will continue to follow him for our veterinary care. Kathleen oneil

Dr Galbraith is the best vet I have ever had and this includes all the years I lived in Orlando Florida. I now live in west Lawrence County TN, and it is over 45 miles to his office but the drive is well worth it. At the time I started using him, based on referrals from neighbors, we had 5 dogs. He cared for everyone of the dogs until we were forced to put the last one to sleep. At the time, "Bumper", a 17 year old black Lab, was in severe pain from a back injury he had sustained 14 years earlier while playing with our grandkids. When we woke up one morning and Bumper could not stand up and was laying on the couch crying, we loaded him up for his last visit to Dr. G, as we call him. When we got there, It would have been to painful for Bumper to move him from the car, so Dr G came out immediately to our care and gave him medicine to ease the pain and once that kicked in, he then put Bumper to sleep. Bumper went very peacefully at that time and Dr G arranged with the cremation facility in Alabama for us to bring him there that day. Once he had been cremated, he was returned to Dr G's office for us to pick up. We had all 5 dogs cremated with Dr G's help and they are all on our mantel. We now have a 2 year old cat, the first cat we have ever had, whom someone dumped out near out property. We live in a very rural area and there are only 4 other homes/farms in a 2 mile area. Dr G is now caring for our cat "Tali" and has given her nothing but the best care. Although wait times may be long, they are definitely worth it and you will never find a better vet than Dr G.

Dr. Wyatt Galbraith is simply the BEST vet I know. I have been doing animal rescue for the past 20 years because of my love of them. NEVER have I met anyone like this man. He is BRILLIANT and COMPASSIONATE beyond belief!!! I only wish that "60 Minutes" would do a national story on Dr. Wyatt Galbraith to give him the attention he deserves! His heart is for the ANIMALS. He can save the most dismal cases and finds challenge in giving all animals a second chance. Our animals are our "children" and we totally trust Dr. Galbraith because he has proven to us over and over again how passionate his medical care has extended to the ones we love!!! Many of these little ones that have been abandoned and sick have come back to life under his care. Nothing is too grave for him to care for. In all my years I have never met a man like him!
I believe his purpose in life is to treat these animals like he would treat his own children. Enough said!! Dr. Galbraith is a gift to anyone with animals needing care and treatment. I'm sorry for anyone that has gone to him and does not feel this same way....they are the one with the PROBLEM. They are not very smart and that is unfortunate for their poor animal. Many many thanks for this very special man. God bless Dr. Galbraith and please let us have him for a long long time.

Dr. Galbraith;
Thank you for holding on during this Pandemic. I and my family appreciate all your friendly staff and your unending sacrifices. I want to thank the young boy who came to get Lucy” after she passed at 14 in June. He tucked the flower in the sheet with her I had there. It touched me so. That is compassion. Thanks young man who will go far with his respect.!
TY All - do what ya have to / we understand in this pandemic!!!!

Dr. Wyatt is an amazing veterinarian and person all around. He loves his job and takes it very seriously. He's not only a helper to animals, he's also a helper of people. He's been taking care of my babies for 5+ years now and I highly recommend him to anyone anywhere. I know that people drive from hours and many miles just to have him take care of their animals. An excellent example of a true veterinarian. As long as I have animals, he'll always be the vet I trust to take care of them. God bless you Dr. Wyatt and thank you for all that you've done and do!

Dr. Galbraith is an excellent VET. Yes his office is busy and you WILL wait BUT that is because EVERYONE that cares about their animals take them to his office. He may not be a people person as some reviews state, who cares, ANIMALS are his patients, not people. I am a nurse and have the utmost respect for Dr. Galbraith and feel he is very personable. I have no problems communicating with him. He is a genius in my book and there is no one that can multi-task like he does and remain that focused. I first took my dog to him for a second opinion and then changed to him as our vet. I have also taken my hens to him. All my family take their pets to him as well. I do not care about wait times or money, I just want my animals to have the best care possible and with Dr. Galbraith I know they are getting the care that he would give his own pets. The 1st time I met Wyatt, he had come out to castrate my mother-in-laws horses. Fast forward 5 years and my children's dog is snake-bit when she is on guard duty during a family hike. It's 6:30 at night. No-one else is answering except for Wyatt. He took her, he cared for her. And she got to come home with us after three days. The bill... $130. Guess who's our family vet now.

We've used Dr. Galbraith for YEARS and have never had anything a successful outcome for our pets. His compassion for his trade is barred none. It is obvious caring for aminals is his passion, not a job. He even drove to Athens to put my Mother's Fila dog, Sam, to sleep when she couldn't stand up any longer after a battle with cancer. As for the person who complained about the long wait and gave him a negative review, I bet they would take every word back if they knew "why" he couldn't get to them. It wouldn't surprise me one bit that he had a more critical animal to take tend to and he knew that her's was more stable than the one he was working with.

Don't just take my word on his veterinary skills. Seriously, the next time you are in Walmart's pet isle, even in North Alabama, 40+ miles away, and ask them what Vet they use... I bet you they know about Dr. Gailbraith. I've experienced that 1st hand on MORE than one occasion!

There is something special about Dr Galbraith. Yes there can be long waits. Yes it is very busy and does appear chaotic at times. When you do meet him face to face you and your pet will get a good vibe. I could go to vet clinics in Huntsville and Athens that are for me much closer than the 25 mile I drive and counting time, wear and tear on my truck might cost less but Dr Galbraith magic for me.

This is a man that will work thoughout the night to save your animal.My german shepard got shot,it went though a lung.crushed sternum and by the time I found her she had almost bleed out.I took her in expecting to have her put down.But,instead he took her,kept her over 2 weeks and she had a full recovery.I called to check on her the first night he was still there with her at 2:00 am. I thought.omg I don't want to see this bill.I was truly thankful and would and do tell anyone that needs a vet.to go there.He is busy and you may wait abit.but Its worth it.Great guy..

Dr wyatt is a wonderful and caring vet. Very kind And compassionate. He will go to every length to take care of your pet and give it and you all his attention. If he keeps your pet over night it's because it needs to be there. If you need him in the night he is a phone call away. His prices are very reasonable and you get much more than you pay for. His office is always very busy so there is a wait time but for the quality of care your pet gets for me its worth every minute. I love him and his staff... they saved my dogs life and have helped all of my pets. There's no better vet anywhere

Dr Galbraith met me as a new patient on a Sunday morning at 7:30 am with a dog that was poisoned. I had been to the ER clinic in Huntsville the night before who wanted $ 1,900.00 to put my dog on an IV overnight. My dog is 14 1/4 has degenerative Myelopathy. Dr Galbraith was kind and worked swiftly and with great compassion to me and Ike. Never suggested putting him down. I will give this man a kidney if he needs it. I was a new patient that morning. And while I had a good vet in Huntsville-could not reach him and when I called back for antibiotics was not helped. Dr Galbraith said come get it. He treated 2 dogs for Poision and together with kennel cough they picked up at the ER clinic and I was charged 1/3 of the ER clinic and that included blood work and kidney/liver scans on both. He is amazing !! and to watch him work is awe inspiring!! He indeed needs to have his own special. I have done animal rescue for 20 yrs and will use him excusively from now on. The time has come to let my companion go but until I can take him there Dr Galbraith wants him to be comfortable. He is a dear man with a wonderful heart for all animals. I have not been asked to fill this out nor compensated for it. It is only a brief version of events. The drive is only 20 min from Ardmore. I will make it from now on with all 6 of my rescues and any and all future pets. And I will send everyone I meet to him. 5 stars is not enough!! This vet is 1 in a million and I am priveledged to know him !!

Dr. Galbraith is a great person. You can tell that he really cares for the animals that he sees. We took our puppy up there yesterday because he has parvo. The last experience we had with parvo the vet we went to charged $300 to send us home with our puppy and iv bags and he passed away less than 12 hours later. Dr.Galbraith is keeping him over the weekend for almost that same price. Even though it takes us 45 minutes we will always go to him. His staff is also very helpful and nice. They are busy and you will have to wait a while, but it's worth it
