Provided by SuperpagesThis is a great place. They have a good chef in here because every time that we go here we get the same thing and the consistency of the food is really remarkable.

Provided by DexKnowsWe are new in town and heard about Mama Mia being the best authentic Italian food in Portland. My husband is a foodie so we went Friday night. Even though they were busy, we had the best waiter whose recommendations were spot on. We shared the fresh mozzarella caprese since he said they make it fresh everyday. AmazingThe Lasagna was huge and definitely home made. Best we have had ever. The cannoli's were outstanding. My husband said they were better than any he had in New York. Two thumbs up.

Provided by DexKnowsLisa,I wanted to let you know how disappointed my guest and I were when having dinner at your restaurant on Saturday, May 1st reservation made 2 weeks ago for 7:00 pm. We arrived at 6:55 and was told we didn't have reservations. I told the gentleman at the front desk that I had reservations and wanted to be seated. He sat us near the front door I saw tables in the back and wanted to be seated there. He told me that they were reserved and if we didn't want to sit where he was sitting us we would have to wait. WRONG ANSWER. My guest and I were hungry and weren't about to wait. We all were very disappointed and were treated very rudely. This behavior for your establishment is unacceptable.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat restaurant! Great food! I rented out the entire restaurant for my wedding reception, the staff was outstanding. Me and my wife had been going there for years before we were married and continue to do so. The atmosphere and service are the best in Portland!

I could go either way with this place. Although traditional dishes are done pretty well, it is nothing to rave about- at times a bit bland. It is definitely a step above the chain restaurants though.

Provided by DexKnowsThis restaurant, owned and operated by the same woman who runs Mother's (Lisa Schroeder, I think), is as incredible as Mother's is, with all-Italian cuisine. I loved eating here so much I planned a big get-together of old high school friends here and they all loved it too. Perfect for couples or large groups, the food can't be beat. Make reservations on the weekends, or plan to eat really late.
