        Points program is Flawed

        Over Memorial Day weekend we stayed at the Kalamazoo location. When we originally booked the reservation a week earlier, we made sure that we would be able to cash in points for a free night. Over the last few years we had accumulated 9100 plus points with the Club Carlson membership. We had the best time a few years ago over a Thankgiving weekend at the Willmar, MN location. We still are waiting to be reimbursed for the stay in Kalamazoo. We were also very disappointed with the lack of empathy of the management when our car was hit in the hotel parking lot Sat night. The manager was more interested in telling us about his own personal problems with income and cars. In addition, the continental breakfast both Sat and Sunday was not very good. They kept running out of everything. We had to keep asking the poor server to bring items out that were out (ie. Syrup, Waffle batter, Milk, etc.) and it wasn't that crowded. My husband tried the cold cereal on Sat morning and detected that it was stale.

        Sadly very disappointed.
