Simply the best in my personal experience. I can't remember when I have ever been happier with a trip to the dentist.

Terrible service

The staff is terrible. Appointments are a waste of time seeing as you will sit there all day and watch walk in consults go back again while you wait for your "scheduled" appointment. Dr Lazcano is the last dentist I would ever go to if I wanted to be treated well.

Overall

The worst dental experience of my life! I had an infection in my tooth and went to this dentist. She said I had to get it extracted so I made the appointment to do so. She wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic and ibuprofen. A few days later the pain was so severe and nothing was helping so I called her office. She then prescribed another pain reliever and another antibiotic. I took the antibiotic and became extremely ill. I researched the medicine only to find that it was a penicillin! I told the dentist and put it on ALL of my paperwork (as I do with EVERY doctor) that I am extremely allergic to penicillin. But that's not all that went wrong. When I came in to do the extraction she gave me two numbing shots and rubbed some medicine on a part of my gum. I have had quite a bit of dental work done before (including root canals) and have always had to get a few extra shots to properly numb the area. I told her I could still feel the area, but she said "you will feel pressure but it won't hurt". The pain I felt is indescribable when she began to pull my tooth. I began to shake uncontrollably and I had to have her stop. I told her it's not pressure, it's immense pain I am feeling - the area is not fully numb! This seemed to annoy her but she gave me a small amount of more medicine and proceeded. Again, the numbing had either not be enough or had not taken effect yet. I literally screamed and cried it hurt so bad. This was not pressure - I could feel the tooth separating from my gum. It came out in pieces and I was distraught. Afterward she didn't even want to give me pain medication. I got in my car and began to shake and sob. I was completely traumatized. Her excuse for not easing my pain was "pain medication is bad for you". Are you kidding me?! That's why they make it - if you are in pain! Needless to say I am miserable from this experience. I have spoken with numerous people who have had teeth extracted and all of them said their dentist made sure they were comfortable and numb and if they began to experience a lot of pain the dentist would attend to it right away. Midway through the extraction I couldn't take anymore so she left me tooth halfway out and walked out of the room. Came back and said "what do you want to do, it's halfway out so if you leave you'll have a tooth sticking out." I had no choice but to let her rip it out. Absolutely horrific pain. Stay away from this place this person should not be allowed to practice dentistry!
