Northridge Church

NorthRidge Church rocks. They use the arts, including upbeat contemporary music, skits dance and drama to get the point across that Jesus is the way. Pastor Brad is blessed with a talent for communicating and teaching God's word, and the best thing about him is that he never talks down to us. He puts himself on our level and admits he has things in his life that aren't perfect that he works on also. He adds a lot of humor to his talks and keep ppl engaged. This church has more opportunities to volunteer than I have ever seen at any church I've been to in the last 20 years. I have volunteered in a few areas and have been happy to serve with other like minded Christians. Younger people make up a good portion of the attenders, but all ages attend. The kids and teen programs that I've had experience with are awesome and keep the kids engaged by mixing fun activities in with the teaching. NorthRidge is not for everyone- some like a small church better where everyone knows your name. NorthRidge is what you make it- a big church where you can go in and leave w/o speaking to anyone, or if you get involved with a small group or volunteer group, you can form acquaintances and friendships. I drive 40 min one way, have attended for 6 years, and love it. NorthRidge is certainly worth trying!
