Welcome to Town & Country Veterinary Hospital and Pet Hotel. We are located in beautiful downtown Pleasanton and have been in practice for over 30 years. We believe in serving our patients and clients with compassionate care and through providing quality preventive medicine. One of our primary goals is client education. We want each and every client to leave with a better understanding of their pet's care, conditions, and treatment plans. In doing so, we are able to strengthen the human-animal bond and keep your 'family members' as healthy as possible. We currently have two long term doctors on staff who are dedicated to providing your pet with the best care possible. In addition to the veterinary hospital, we have a full time boarding facility where we provide a home away from home for both dogs and cats. Also provided on site is a full time grooming service to keep your pets trimmed, bathed, and looking their best. We are the one stop shop for all your pet's needs. Accreditation

Dr. Donald R. Gardner is the sole proprietor as well as veterinarian at Town & Country Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Gardner attended Berkeley College and then went on to earn his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Gardner has been serving the pets of Pleasanton and surrounding areas for over 25 years. Dr. Coleen L. Dossey is an Associate Veterinarian at Town & Country Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Dossey earned her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Dossey has been with Town & Country Veterinary Hospital for 0ver 14 years. Dr. Dossey is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS), and is currently embarking on a five year study of Chinese Veterinary Herbal Medicine through the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dossey feels that the ability to integrate modern Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Veterinary medicine (TCVM) gives her patients the best that all worlds have to offer.
