Gil's Body Works Inc.

This was a disaster from the start. I was asked to wait for 3 weeks before I brought my car in. They said they would get the necessary part ordered during that 3 week wait making sure the estimated 4-5 day completion could easily be met. I dropped the car off and picked up the rental I had reserved for 5 days.

From the day I brought the car, nothing went right. From no communication, to multiple missed commitments, to delays (14 days before i got my car back), damage they did to the interior of my car and missing items that were in my car when I dropped it off and not there when I picked it up it ran the gamut. The interior of my car, which was in immaculate shape (it was only the body that needed some repair) came back in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Sadly they don’t stand behind their work, have an excuse for everything, blame everyone else and treat their customers like crap including calling them liars. I am out $500 to fix their damage and forced to take them to court.

About 5 months ago i went to Gil's Body Works to fix my back bumper of my car after being rear ended by another vehicle. Not knowing a lot about cars I asked them to fix the damage to my car. which they didn't do!!! They replaced the bumper but didn't line up the bumper with the rear fender right, so the bumper sticks out out 3 inches away from the fender. Once i saw this i told Gil about this and his words were " YOU NEVER ASKED US TO FIX THAT, THAT WILL COST ANOTHER 500 DOLLARS".

when you ask someone to fix the damage to your car after it was hit, you don't want a half way job. you expect the car to come back put together right. so if your looking for someone to work on the body of your car, skip this body shop or you will be wasting your money.
