Every child’s mouth is unique, so there’s not a cookie-cutter treatment plan. After examining their mouth, their orthodontist will create a personalized strategy to improve their smile, which can include one or more treatments, like extractions, space maintainers, or braces.

Crowns
The iTero scanner can serve a number of purposes. In general dentistry offices, it helps doctors to design crowns, bridges, and other restorations. Because our practice primarily serves as an orthodontist, we mostly use the iTero scanner to capture impressions as part of the Invisalign process.

Cleaning your retainer with a soft-bristled toothbrush and water to remove bacteria and food particles. It can also be helpful to soak your retainer in a denture cleaner.

Dental Implants
It’s best to have missing teeth replaced as soon as possible with restorations such as bridges and dental implants. You shouldn’t wait to long to get these appliances, as the longer you wait the more likely it is your other teeth will shift out of place and suffer from additional wear and tear. You can still get braces even after bridges and implants have been placed, although we’ll need to account for them while planning the treatment.

How you should handle loose teeth: Do not play or overuse your loose teeth as it could make the situation worsen. Instead, practice good oral hygiene to ward off harmful bacteria that could be weakening the tissue. If you’re worried about your loose teeth, call our office, and schedule an appointment. We’ll take X-rays to monitor the health of your jawbone and determine if any further action needs to be taken (i.e., gum disease treatment or bone grafting).

Invisalign Orthodontics
Instead of metal brackets and wires, Invisalign utilizes clear, custom-tailored trays that are similar to retainers to shift your teeth gently and strategically into alignment. Throughout the treatment, you’ll wear each set of trays for 20 to 22 hours. After two weeks, you’ll move on to the next set in your treatment until the process is complete.
Braces
Our team even loves making people smile outside of our orthodontic office! That’s why for every new patient that receives braces treatment, our orthodontic office donates to a local school or charity. Our staff also regularly volunteers our services for families who aren’t able to afford treatment. Since we life and raise our families in the area, we aim to make sure that it’s a better place for everyone.
