        Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County Western Slope offers five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. Established in 1999, it offers a range of after school programs for children and disadvantaged youth ages 7 through 18. The club, based in Placerville, Calif., also provides prevention programs for youth, including gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and unplanned pregnancies.
