Texas Roadhouse

It was my birthday, so my hubby, mom, and kids all went to dinner. We were very excited as we love the Roadhouse in Erie. My steak was under done, so they re-fired and it came back very dry. All that doesn't bother me... what does was the manager's attitude... absolutely no effort was made to try to "recover" this experience ... she did the bare minimum when I said we simply did not have time to have wait for another steak.. she took mine off the bill (I didn't eat it, so it was sent back)... she could have offered a dessert, a side dish that was already prepared, salad... anything quick.. even a piece of cake to take home.. any effort to say "we screwed up but let us try to recover this experience"... our bill was still close to 100.00 and I, the birthday girl, had a very disappointing experience. I've never felt like less of a valued customer at a Roadhouse than at this new one in Mccandless... I came home and ate grilled cheese... next time, I'll go to one of the many other restaurants popping up in the north hills... if this roadhouse treats their customers like they are nothing more than a check book, they won't stay busy for long... the "newness" will wear off quickly!
