        David Anderson started the Golden Bone in 1988 as a safe, clean, and friendly environment for you and your pets. We completed a renovation of our facility in January 2012 and now offer the best amenities you could want for your pet.

        Dog boarding, day care, grooming. Community service is very important to us! In addition to providing Steel City Greyhounds with free boarding and office space, we also work with our three local animal shelters, and we are proud to support local Pittsburgh charities including Jubilee Soup Kitchen, UPMC Children's Hospital, WYEP, Washington Township Fire Department, and Shady Side Academy.
