Pinnacle Automotive and Tires

Just moved to Philadelphia for job/school and was looking for a place to service my vehicle. Was told to go here because they know how to deal with cars. Boy were they right, I have now been a customer here for over a year. They serviced my car and walked me through how to get my new registration. Now I have my car and license PA certified. They even let me know where the good food is, these guys are great.

So - I think I just found my new neighborhood mechanic!



My car has been acting funky and deciding to not turn on out of the blue (I thought it was just because it was sick of me driving it to work on the weekends...I mean who works the weekends?!?) So last weekend I stopped by a PepBoys to have the battery checked. For $15 they checked the battery, altenator, and starter and said it was all fine so it much be a 'major problem'. On that note I took my keys, paid the $15 and said 'Thank you very much goodbye' aka 'screw you I know it's nothing major PepBoys' and went on my merry way.



A week later, on Saturday, my car started acting funky AGAIN. It died on me while stopped at a light on 10th and Washington and this nice guy pushed me over into a parking lot, gave me a jump, and suggested I take it to Pinnacle down the street.



Within 10 minutes they had it pulled in, battery tested and diagnosis explained - battery is bad. Even though they obviously had other work going on, they took the time to show me the meter reading and explain to me that battery needed replacement. 20 min later I was driving home happily with my new battery and running car. Its great to find a repair shop open on Saturdays at that!



I even talked to a woman in the waiting room who stated her and her husband had been going there for years... Thanks Pinnacle - I'll most def be back!

This is actually my first ever review but I was compelled to write one after the simply OUTSTANDING customer service I received from Pinnacle Automotive!!! I chose this shop truly based on the Google ratings and reviews and I am so glad I did! Everything the previous 5 star reviews said in their praise of this shop is 100% right on...no bull! And yes, they took care of me like I was their only customer and yes they expertly detailed the car afterwards (took me a couple of days to find and appreciate all the extra things they did). So, If you want a repair done right, great customer service, at a very fair price...go see Mark at his shop. You won't be disappointed :) Mark, many thanks to you and your fine staff. Ive been meaning to post this review for a while but havent had the time recently, but here it goes! I can not recommend highly enough a better place to take your car for any type of service be it mechanical or auto body. I found Pinnacle Automotive & Tires through Yelp and, based on the reviews, decided to bring my car there for service. I had just bought a used 1982 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel and needed a good mechanic because I was going to use the car to commute from Philly to DC on a daily basis, so I needed my car reliable. I brought my newly bought car in for a thorough inspection (which I should have done before I bought it) and Pinnacle gave me a laundry list of problems. They were very nice however and well aware that I didn't have a lot of money, so they kindly told me what absolutely needed to be repaired and then helped me form a plan to take care of the other repairs in the future. Long story short, the Mercedes ended up being a money pit and I sold it lol. Then, I bought a 2009 VW New Beetle and decided to continue to use Pinnacle as my repair shop rather than the dealer just because of their superior customer service. Mark, Dennis, Demond, and the rest of the team are great. They know me by name and remember little details about me which really makes a difference. They always address me as Mr. Pinto and are always enthusiastic when they greet me. I'm picky when it comes to my car, so when I requested a specific type of oil be used during an oil change that they didn't carry, Demond went out of his way to special order the oil for me and get the oil change done within a matter of hours. Then, I got into an accident with my new car and did some body damage and damage to the rear axel. I took my car to Pinnacle and they arranged everything with my insurance company and got the job done efficiently. The work was spectacular, second to none,and you wouldn't even know that I had gotten into an accident. I was very very very pleasesed and cant thank them enough. At the time, I also had them change the oil in my car since it was at the shop anyway and the owner, Mark, was kind enough to give me a discount on those services since I just dropped close to $4000 in repairs at their shop. Trust me guys and gals, Pinnacle Automotive is the place to go to get your car serviced! They are staffed by wonderful people, expert technicians, and do exceptional work. I can honestly say from experience Pinnacle is definitely THE one stop shop for all of your auto repair needs.

I had a wonderful experience at Pinnacle Automotive AGAIN! I purchased a 2003 Certified Honda Accord in 2007 and took it to Pinnacle for the inspection and repairs, and this year I bought another Accord but the 2012 model and did the same. Dennis and Mark were great to work with. They all treated me like royalty and put up with my whiny temper tantrums from time to time through out the process. :) I cant imagine going anywhere else to service my vehicle. My experience keeps getting better! I would recommend and have referred many family members and friends to Pinnacle.

Thank you to the staff at Pinnacle Automotive for excellent service. My family and I were heading toward Philadelphia for a weekend trip from out of state during the Chritmas holidays, when our Moutaineer began shaking violently. We were able to make it to your service center in the late morning. Mountaineer was diagnosed and repaired before the facility closed, thereby not stranding my family (including three children under five) in PA for multiple days. Brian and Dennis helped to load and unload the truck for us and were friendly and thoughtful with the children. While this may seem like just good customer service, we appreciate it - Thanks again!

its so hard to find a good mechanic these days n ive been just about everywhere! I have finally found that great mechanic at pinnacle. Everyone from the owner, who took the time out to help me find the used parts i needed to bring the repair down to my price range, to the service adviser, who also worked with me on a lot of things, to the staff who were very curtious and held up traffic so i could back out safe, were all great. what a great place this is i would highly reccomend pinnacle to anyone looking to have any service done to their car. these guys are ok in my book. Thanks guys :)

What else can i say these guys rock!!!!! Pinnacle has always given me the best service at great prices. You can try shopping around yourself and you'll see what i mean they use quality parts and are still able to be competitive with other shops and most of the time beat their prices and you know you arent getting ripped off with shody parts and bad workmanship. I would give pinnacle 5 stars these guys are the best. Thanks guys for always being the best around!!!

Great, Great Service!!!!!!! I was towed in on X-mas eve needing a major repair in order to get on the road for the holiday. With all of the parts deliveries cancelled the guys at the shop ran for parts, repaired my vehicle and gave me a discount on the service. Needless to say I made it to New York without a hitch and had the comfort of knowing that my family and I would be safe. GO TEAM PINNACLE!!!!!!!!!!!! All of the other repair places in the area showed us their behinds, lmao. Joke's on you guys....PINNACLE SAVED MY HOLIDAY.

Wow what a great place!!! ive had tons of work done to my car over the years and pinnacle automotive is by far the best place i have gone to. last year i had work done to my car and it came along with a one year and so many thousand mile warranty (i forget the exact number) and the part went bad and i was past the year ( and past the mileage) but they still stood by their work and worked with me on replacing it and it didnt cost me anything!!! the guys at pinnacle are great. Great atmosphere friendly staff , and what i like most of all quality work which they stand behind. what more could you ask for in an auto repair shop. i wouldnt dream of taking my car anywhere else. Thank you guys for the great job as always. Se you soon. Well hopefully not too soon lol. I would recommend Pinnacle to anyone looking for an honest trustworthy repair shop.
