Please avoid this shelter, its a filthy and horrible enviorment to put any animal into this place. I felt so bad after going into this place, i wanted to adopt a cat and was turned down after 8 calls to check on my status ( they never contacted me i did all the calling ). I was turned down because i did not take my cat to the vet often enough. They apparently do this quite often. I was told beforehand that this was one of the worst places in the city,and now I can say they are correct. I believe that the state needs to look at the conditions as well as those that run it. Do not use this place!!!!
