I booked a spa after dark couples package for my husbands birthday, and well it ruined his whole entire day. The massage was not relaxing, it was very violent and fast. The masseuse beat on his back to start and slammed her elbow into the side of his neck. This was supposed to be a massage for relaxation, not something that would end up leaving him hurting. Not once did she ask about pressure, it felt more like a massage given to a football player after a hard work out. My masseuse was better, but the massage felt rushed and not relaxing at all. I have had quite a few swedish massages and never have I felt like they were in a race.

Second problem, the facial, she got some of the chemicals in his eye, leaving it red and painful for the rest of the night.

We had to fill out forms at the beginning of the experience, however, not once did they even look at the forms. Had they done that they would have seen medium to light pressure and that the massages were for relaxation. They also would have seen that I have a herniated disk and a bad knee and had asked for these areas to be avoided.

When we went to leave the receptionist asked about our experience and when we explained to her that the masseuse had actually injured my husband she explained that some pain is normal after a massage. Then she asked me to wait for a minute, and disappeared into the back. To be fair she was trying to get some of the services discounted, but all we really wanted to do was leave.

The owner asked for my phone number and email address, and stated that the masseuse had stated she asked several times during the massage about the pressure.

Very unprofessional!!!

Never again. Overpriced, horrible services!!

It was my first time getting a bikini wax and the staff was professional and understanding. They took me early and I was finished within 10 minutes.

The best in Philadelphia!!! I have been a client of The Body Klinic Day Spa for 3 years now and I just love it! The staff is very friendly and greets you immediately once you enter the door. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing and makes you feel right at home. The service providers have always been on time and always are kind enough to offer you a beverage or see if you need anything. This place is like a vacation away from home. I couldn't imagine going to any other spa but The Body Klinic Day Spa!

I was taken to The Body Klinic Day Spa by my partner as part of my birthday surprise and it was heavenly!! The staff was so courteous and attentive, and they put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. I had Exfoliating and Detoxifying Salt Scrub and the 90 mins. Full Body Swedish Massage. At one point, I caught myself snoring on the table. I was even impressed with the way they handled this perverted man that came in there soliciting the reception staff. Firm, professional, and still respectful. I would highly highly recommend this to anyone that wants to give a gift to their sweetheart or anyone else who is in dire need of pampering.

A Special Valentines Day at The Body Klinic

When I heard about this one spa The Body Klinic, and read some of their special Valentines Day spa services packages, which included complimentary chocolate pretzels plus a glass of champagne it made me interested. I don’t have a lot of experience going to spas, but I know that my girlfriend would really enjoy it. I called The Body Klinic, and spoke to the reception that thoroughly explained the different services the spa offered. I ordered the guided couples massage package, which was a very good choice.

We arrived early on the day of our appointment. Interior decorating is one of my hobbies, and I loved the way the spa was decorated. It had a tropical rainforest appeal to it. Our massage therapist Igal came out promptly to greet us too. He was very nice, and helped to ease my tension about perfecting the technique to give a perfect massage.

During the guided couples massage, he was thorough in teaching us how important breathing, and movement is to doing a great massage. I don’t know whether it was the candles in the room or the gentle sounds of the ocean playing on the radio, but I have never felt such serenity. His technique was great. He seemed to touch upon every pressure point, and gently, but firmly massaged it.

He showed me the proper position that my hands need to be in, and the correct way to massage the flesh. It was excellent I got a great massage, and very valuable information. I was so happy that I ordered this service. Now, I am officially a fan of The Body Klinic FaceBook page.
