My parents used this firm, who came highly recommended, when they lost their son to hospital neglect. NEVER was any compassion shown to them. My parents thought they were getting the name sake, Tom Kline, however, he delegated to an associate, Amy Guth. She was HORRIBLE. RUDE, CONDESCENDING & HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. She would send things to my parents to sign without explaining things. She had my father set up an estate but then never fully instructed him in that regard. She had the final settlement agreement messengered to my parent's house and the messenger was supposed to wait while they signed off even though the agreement stated that the terms were fully explained to them - which they were not. Their accounting dept. also tried to take way more of a fee. When I called this mistake to her attention I was spoken down to (as usual by her) and told I was not a CPA, that I misread the court's Order and that her accounting depart. does this everyday and they were correct AND THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME. Well as it turns out I was right and they had to recalculate everything. Did she apologize - no way. When my parents went to their offices to pick up the checks, she was SO RUDE. She had an attitude of "I'm better than you" and did not like it when she was questioned about certain things. My parents and I needed answers to some questions that had arisen over the course of the lawsuit that she had still answered and even then she didn't fully answer their questions. When the meeting was over, she got up from the table, said good-bye to my father and THEN TURNED HER BACK ON MY MOTHER AND I and just walked out of the room. NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE MY MOTHER - HER OWN CLIENT! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FIRM. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL.
