I was invited to the wedding of my ex boyfriend. You can imagine how much I wanted to be the most beautiful girl there. I went to Island Design Natural Hair Salon to make my hair and after the lady finished I couldn`t recognize myself in the mirror. I was sooooo beautiful. When I opened a business in Philadelphia, PA 7 years ago, I was on the lookout for a new Hair Salon. I only needed to look three doors down. When you go into Island Design Natural Hair Salon you are treated like a friend. All the stylists, colorists, facialists, and the nail lady are wonderful. They are a full service salon and can fix whatever needs fixing and tell you when its time for a change. Many of my customers comment on my hair and I refer them to Island Design Natural Hair Salon and they are always very happy. I am always amazed at how busy they are and that they have had some customers since they first opened. IA very good sign in todays economy. I highly reccomend this salon and wouldn`t think of goin anywhere else!

I have been going to this place for about 6 months and LOVE it. Its difficult to find a good place for a guys haircut where people actually cut the hair, not just use trimmers. Marie, my stylist, takes her time and is completely honest if something will look good on you or not. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and great haircuts.

Simply amazing. I have spent so much money trying to remove my jet black hair and go lighter and i finally went to rikrak and got the color i wanted! Its true what they say..if you want a good job you have to be willing to spend some cash. I absolutely agree! Julie did my hair and she was fab! Already made my second appt.

Great Service, Best hair color, highlights!! I've been around looking for a good hair colorist..none have been able to give me the hair color I've been looking for, I read about Island Design Natural Hair Salon and decided to schedule an appointment.The whole staff was extremely nice. They colored my hair and the color turned out amazing. It was the exact hair color I wanted (honey blonde). Just an amazing service! Will definitely continue going there!!

Stopped here after working up this way after work. Was a walk in appointment and they were quick to get me seated. Liked the vibe and got a good hair cut. They use a straight edge to shave your neck which is cool. Also gave me a massage after on my neck and shoulders which is more than inviting after a hard days work. I will be coming back here again in the future.

I just followed my hair stylist to Island Design Natural Hair Salon. I`m very excited for her and the staff. This place is so beautiful, warm and welcoming. The main stylist cut and colored my hair. I,m always pleased with the results although this time even more so. I absolutely love the color line the salon is using. It is ammonia free but cover my gray so nicely. the best part no smell and my hair has so much shine. I also got my first thermal relaxer ever. Island Design Natural Hair Salon you have changed my life. My hair has never looked so naturally straight. by far the best hair relaxer I`ve ever had on my hair and it so easy for me to style. Thank you Island Design Natural Hair Salon for making me feel beautiful. And for the rest of the staff, thanks for making me feel so at home.

I had my first "cut and color" appointment at Island Design Natural Hair Salon in Philadelphia, PA last week. The main stylist has been my stylist for years so I was looking forward to having my hair done in her new surroundings. I found everyone at Island Design Natural Hair Salon to be very friendly. The complimentary coffee was delicious too! I really enjoyed the atomosphere of the salon and intend to be a regular customer. Most importantly, I love my cut and color. The owner is an awesome stylist!

I don't get manicures or pedicures and certainly don't pamper myself. So, I always look forward to coming into your salon because I know I can come in, relax, and know that I'm in good hands. I spend everyday making decisions left and right and when I come see you, I can trust you to take over and relieve me of that job. It is a great pleasure to brag on Larine! First of all, Larine colored my hair beautifully!! Then she she matched and ordered my hair extensions. The extensions are a perfect match to my hair! She did an awesome job applying the extensions and her attention to detail is amazing! You absolutely can not tell that I have extensions! I love my hair!
