Ben City Supermarket

As other people have noted, their variety is very good but customer service is just about the worst if not THE WORST of any store in Philly. I went to the location in the northeast just off the Boulevard. On two different occasions I stepped up to the checkout with no other people ahead of me. Both time the cashier was speaking to someone who was not in line or making a purchase - just having a conversation. I stood there waiting to be rung up but was ignored until I spoke up. Unless I really have to, i.e. they have something I can't get anyplace else, I don't go there again. The cashiers at The Farmers Market - formerly known as Hong Kong Supermarket - on Adams Ave, are much more friendly and efficient.
