Dr. Richard R Markwood, DO

Claimed he was the "hugging doctor" which I found VERY wrong. Told me multiple times that I was cute, and after checking my cervix (34 weeks) he wanted to hug me.... NO! After I told him about my mother having an incompetent cervix and she wanted mine checked just to be sure (was in a lot of pain could not walk) he asked if my mother was an OB... which I found rude!

Dr Markwood was on call when I went into labor and delivered my baby. To keep this post short...rude, mean, and inappropriate. My labor was great and quick so I was even in a great mood, very polite to him and tried not to make him meaner. At one point he said "is my sarcasm bothering you yet?". He was telling my husband jokes during delivery. Even the nurses were apologizing for his inappropriate behavior. Something's very off with him. Gave me the creeps, to put it plainly. Needs to be out of the business so this can't happen to another woman.
