Gulf Coast School of Music is a Pensacola music school where Pensacola music students ages 6 to adult learn to play the fun way. Offering guitar, bass, drum, piano, voice, keyboard, synthesizer, & songwriting lessons. Open to music students of ANY skill level, from beginner to advanced. Students can join at any time and are taught by professional musicians with years of performing experience. Located conveniently in Pensacola's East Hill neighborhood, just off of 9th Avenue. The environment at Gulf Coast School of Music is relaxing and no pressure; the emphasis is on enjoying oneself and playing for the pure pleasure of playing. Lessons are customized for each students skill and comfort level. School founder Jim Brown is a professional touring musician with 20 years of experience in performing and teaching music. Gulf Coast School of Music offers a unique low-key approach to music instruction: students learn to play the FUN WAY both individually and as part of a band. Pensacola guitar lessons. Pensacola bass lessons. Pensacola drum lessons. Pensacola piano lessons. And Pensacola voice lessons are ALL offered. Twice a year Gulf Coast School of Music holds student music shows in downtown Pensacola, Florida, so that students who are ready can perform live at a real music venue. Preparing for the Pensacola music show teaches them how to plan for a performance. Choose songs. Rehearse. Perform onstage. Set up and RUN the necessary equipment. And promote a show. Perhaps most importantly, they have FUN in the process. JIM has worked with hundreds of music students over the past several years, helping them set, manage and achieve their personal music goals. He specializes in helping vocal students identify their strengths and style. And focus on what works for them. He also helps them master how to play and sing at the same time. All instructors are professional musicians who can teach ANY style of music to ALL levels of students.
