St. Joseph's University Medical Center Emergency Department

Had an appointment at 8:15 pm for an MRI. Got there at 8:00 pm to be on time. Waited 1 hour and 40 minutes before being told that one of the machines was not working and that an ER patient was sent for an emergency MRI and that it would be ANOTHER 35 minutes for the MRI test. I would have understood that if they had told me that earlier because I would have just rescheduled. To wait so long to tell me that information was just an insult. To top it off the front desk person of the MRI department just walked up and left her shift without saying ONE WORD. I had to walk to the front desk at the entrance of the hospital to tell the security guard to call the MRI department to tell them that I was leaving and I needed my doctor's script back. The security guard sympathized with me and told me they had a "Didn't care tone" on the phone and she even said that 2 hours was too long of a wait. I suggest YOU AVOID this hospital at all costs if you value your time.
