Sleepy's

I am terribly disappointed in the service I received from Mattress Giant in Pasadena. The salesperson seemed very knowledgeable and with his advise I bought a Simmons mattress instead of a Sealy which I had intended to buy. I wound up trading in the mattress because it showed signs of sagging after being used for one only month. Luckily I had bought the mattress protector because only when I went in to set up an exchange was I told that without having bought that item, I would not have been able to return the mattress. The delivery men who picked up the mattress even mentioned that they had picked up several of these mattresses and thought my mattress might have been defective. I could have complained that the mattress was defective, however, I would have had to accept another of the same kind and after that there would be no other exchanges. The second mattress I chose was less expensive than the first and the policy was that I would not be able to get a refund for the difference, instead, I would have to spend the difference on something from the store. (in addition, I was charged $160 to exchange the mattress, a charge I was not informed of prior to my request to switch mattresses) I picked out a headboard. That was in November! After many calls and conversations with with at least 5 different salespersons in both MD and DE I was told that the headboard was on order, but was given no date for its arrival. It is now March and delivery called today and set up the delivery of the headboard for tomorrow. I will never shop at Mattress Giant again.
