These people are absolute rip ...

These people are absolute rip offs, avoid going here at all costs!! My wife went here and they overloaded her with unnecessary tests and padded the bill so much that it exceeded the amount our insurance company would cover for an office visited by a mere $13.00 and they refused to adjust the billing down by that much so our $20.00 co pay would cover the visit. The total they billed was over $750.00 for an office visit!!! We now have to pay over $360.00 out of our pocket to make up the difference the insurance company won't cover. They totally lack compassion and understanding! It's medical services such as this that is the reason that medical costs are spiraling out of control in this country! You can blame a lot of people for our medical industry problems but you need look no further than Park City Internal Medicine for the immediate cause. If you are forced to go here, question everything! Ask what they are doing and if it's medically necessary! Above all, ask what it costs! These people are merciless rip offs and after charging their outrageous prices, performing unnecessary tests, you'll be no better off than when you walked in! My wife went in to see if she might have diabetes. Not only did they not perform the correct test to determine if she had diabetes, they had her breath into a tube to determine her lung function ($300.00), check her blood oxygen content by slipping a pulse-ox meter on her finger ($50.00), then giving her some kind of useless lung inhalation medication treatment ($45.00), non of which had anything to do with diabetes! They never even thought to ask that perhaps the fact she lives at 7400 feet in elevation might be the reason she's a bit short of breath on occasion. Please avoid going here, instead try Park City Hospital where they have professionals on staff. As far as the diabetes goes, she went to another doctor and for a few dollars told here she wasn't diabetic. Give me a break!!!
