Butcher's Chop House & Bar-Park City Restaurant

For the first time in 49 years, I sent my steak back to the kitchen. It was so fatty and tough that I couldn't cut it even using the restaurant's super-duper massive steak knife. I even asked for a different knife thinking that mine might be dull. By the time the replacement arrived, I was no longer hungry so I took my steak home. When I tried to eat it the following day for lunch, it was impossible to cut. The only way this steak could have been cut and chewed was by a food processor. So, again for the first time in my life, I drove down a mountain, through heavy snow just to present this piece of shoe leather to the restaurant manager. This was supposedly a New York strip. I asked the restaurant personnel to try to identify the cut of meat. They guessed rib eye or sirloin. We will never eat at Butcher's again. The food is terrible and I believe they tried to pass off an inferior grade of beef as a New York strip. There are other great steakhouses in Park City. Go to the Grub Steak or Ruth's Chris instead.
