Ear Infection TreatmentSo your little or big friend is being groomed today? A large portion of the general public believes grooming is just putting the pet in the bath tub, drying and running a clipper over them and then *poof* the grooming is complete. This could not be further from the truth. While your pet is being worked on, his ears will be checked and any excess hair will be removed to help prevent ear infections. If the ears require veterinary help to treat an infection you will be advised of this prior to treatment. Also, your pets nails will be trimmed and filed down. Hard hair and dirt between the paw pads will be removed for your pet's comfort. A sanitary clip will also be done to help your pet's hygiene. We also express anal glands and have the veterinary technicians here to help us on the pets that are more difficult to express. This is only a brief summary of what your pet's day at the groomers entails. And of course no pet leaves without the finishing touches like a bow or bandana and cologne!

Comprehensive ExaminationAn annual exam is a standard procedure that we conduct but it is up to you to keep watch and make notes about your pet’s health and behavior. Our comprehensive full body examination of your pet will help ensure optimal health. Please come to us with anything that you notice or any questions that you may have regarding your pet's health.
Dental CareRoutine dental care is essential to your pet's health. Dental Cleanings provide an opportunity to scale & polish your pet's teeth as well as diagnose and treat any dental conditions that require attention. Untreated dental disease can lead to other serious medical issues including the health of your pet's heart and kidneys. Click HERE for more information on dental disease.
VaccinationPlease understand that when giving a price on the phone it is only an estimate. Prices are based on breed, type of coat (short, long, thick, etc), size, pets behavior (ease of grooming), if it needs to be sedated, what condition their coat is in, their vaccination status, and if there are any parasites present such as ticks or fleas that have to be removed.

In addition, our in house laboratory equipment allows us to check a wide range of internal organ functions and accurately diagnose and treat your pet's condition.

Skin Condition and Allergy Treatment
Veterinary SurgeryFrom routine spay/neuter procedures to emergency or diagnostic surgery, we are prepared to provide your pet with the best surgical care available.
Spaying and NeuteringSpaying or neutering can be done at approximately five to six months of age. You will need to schedule an appointment for these procedures. Your pet is admitted at the beginning of the morning and will stay with us until later that same afternoon. If you feel more comfortable leaving your pet with us overnight following the surgery, you may do so at no additional charge. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine if they are healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure, however we do recommend performing a pre-anesthetic blood screen to evaluate kidneys, pancreas, liver, electrolytes, white blood cells, and red blood cells levels. This bloodwork can find health conditions that may go undetecteded otherwise. A current Rabies vaccination that has been given by a licensed veterinarian is required at the time of surgery. If a Rabies vaccine is needed we can give it the day of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery. We work with you and your pet to help manage any pain after surgery.
