I have used this Emergency Department several times and have received caring competent care. It is true they don't routinely give pain medication prescriptions from the ED - that is what your own family doctor is for. They will treat the acute problem (with pain meds if indicated) and leave the follow-up to your family doctor. It wouldn't be ethical for the hospital to comment on the prior complaint - but I guess its OK for a disgruntled former patient who didn't get what they wanted to slam the hospital. Sounds like she needs to go to another hospital for treatment in the future.

The emergency room sucks. They do not care about their patients cause of the so many people lookin for drugs when so many of us need the proper treatment we cant get it.So with personal experience I believe they need to be investigated and found at fault for whatever and whoever they misdiagnose.I know im not the only one who feels this way.I have been misdiagnosed by this emergency room on more than one visit. Now they have a sign stating they will not routinely prescribe narcotics to patients cause of the drug abuse. So its up to them to say that you are drug seeking when you accually need their professional help.
